I had the honor of speaking at the Laundry CEO Conference this year in Dallas, Texas, and it was such a fulfilling experience. Every time I get the opportunity to share about leadership, I’m reminded that people are hungry—hungry for strong leadership and spiritual health. These are the two things people crave most, often without even realizing it. Our lives and work can feel chaotic, messy, and uncertain. In the middle of it all, people are searching for guidance, clarity, and strength. This world—and the business world especially—needs leaders who are spiritually grounded and steady. As I spoke to the group, I challenged everyone to ask themselves: “How can I walk through my day with the constant mindset, ‘God, I need You’ or ‘God, I’m thankful’?” We all face adversity. But what if instead of running from it, we celebrated it—using our challenges to help others? God works all things for good. Leaders, my challenge to you is this: continue to lead yourself daily.
