How do I lead at home? Serving your family is one of the most important ways to lead. Steady leaders don’t just lead at work—they lead with love, patience, and humility at home too. 3 ways to serve your family like a steady leader: 1️⃣ Listen first – Give your full attention to their needs, worries, and dreams. 2️⃣ Put their needs above your own – Small acts of service create lasting impact. 3️⃣ Lead by example – Show integrity, kindness, and faith in every action. Serving your family isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up, prioritizing love, and reflecting God’s heart in your home. #SteadyLeader #FamilyFirst #ServeWithLove #FamilyFirst #FathersLead #LeadAtHome #SchuylerWilliamson #AuburnFootball

I had the honor of speaking at the Laundry CEO Conference this year in Dallas, Texas, and it was such a fulfilling experience. Every time I get the opportunity to share about leadership, I’m reminded that people are hungry—hungry for strong leadership and spiritual health. These are the two things people crave most, often without even realizing it. Our lives and work can feel chaotic, messy, and uncertain. In the middle of it all, people are searching for guidance, clarity, and strength. This world—and the business world especially—needs leaders who are spiritually grounded and steady. As I spoke to the group, I challenged everyone to ask themselves: “How can I walk through my day with the constant mindset, ‘God, I need You’ or ‘God, I’m thankful’?” We all face adversity. But what if instead of running from it, we celebrated it—using our challenges to help others? God works all things for good. Leaders, my challenge to you is this: continue to lead yourself daily. Grow mentally, physically, and spiritually so that you can serve your people with strength and clarity. It’s always an incredible honor to share this message and see how it resonates. The world needs steady leaders—and it starts with you. #TheSteadyLeader #Leadership #FaithInBusiness #ServantLeadership #LaundryCEOConference #LeadYourselfFirst

We are called to lead like Jesus—by serving those around us. John Maxwell reminds us that Jesus never kept score. He forgave freely, served without condition, and focused on people—not points. Leading isn’t about power or points—it’s about putting others first, lifting them up, and reflecting God’s love in everything you do. #SteadyLeader #ServeLikeJesus #HighRoadLeadership #JohnMaxwell #SchuylerWilliamson #LeadPeople #ServePeople

Want to hear the harsh truth? You don’t get real feedback until you ask people for money. Got a business idea? Product idea? Book idea? Ask people to invest in it—or buy it—and you’ll quickly learn what they actually think. Make sure to use the feedback you receive. Build. Measure. Learn. That’s how real entrepreneurs grow. They’re always refining, always improving, always steady in pursuit of better.

It is a win to find talented people for your company; it is a bigger win to KEEP talented people. So, how do you keep extremely talented people in your company? Sell them on your vision, make it believable with a clear, actionable business plan, and take steps toward it every day. A-players won’t wait around forever, so create momentum before you lose them. The most productive people don’t have patience for wasted time. When the right people see the opportunity, you have to move—fast. #Vision #Clairty #SteadyLeader #Business #APlayers #FindandKeepTalent

Jesus said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all” (Mark 9:35). Steady leaders know this truth: – They put people above their own agenda. – They treat others better than they’re treated. – They give their best because God gave His best. Frederick L. Collins once said there are two types of people: those who walk into a room and say, “Here I am!” and those who walk in and say, “Ah, there you are!” Steady leaders are the latter. They don’t chase glory or popularity—they serve. They invest in people, grow those around them, and lead with humility. Leadership isn’t about being first—it’s about lifting others to be their best. #SteadyLeader #Leadership #ServePeople #ServentLeader #LeadPeople #HumbleLeadership

In 2019, we opened our very first laundromat with no idea what the future would hold. Fast forward to 2025—corporate stores #4, #5, and #6 are underway, and our first franchisees are preparing to launch their own locations. Through all the change, growth, ups and downs, one thing has always stayed at the heart of Laundry Luv: people. Every day, our team asks: - How can I serve the people around me? - How can I love them? - How can I be a light in their life? - How can I put a smile on their face? Laundry is a chore everyone has to do—but our mission is bigger than clean clothes. At Laundry Luv, we want every customer to feel welcomed, loved, and seen. This is what drives us. This is Laundry Luv. @laundryluv

Entrepreneurs, are you chasing the wrong customers? The most successful leaders don’t try to sell to everyone. They go after the right ones. When you know exactly who you serve, you can focus your energy where it matters most. More efficiency. More impact. More results. Lead your business like you lead yourself: with clarity, discipline, and purpose. Start with the right customer.

I tell my team all the time the 'juggling balls example'. We all have multiple balls we’re balancing—family, work, fitness, faith, friends, and more. The truth is, not all priorities are equal. Work is a rubber ball—drop it, and it bounces back. Family is a glass ball—drop it, and it shatters. Part of being a Steady Leader is understanding your priorities and protecting the glass balls. Take the time to show up for your family. They’re your most important team. Work can wait, but family moments can’t. #SteadyLeader #FamilyFirst #LeadWithPurpose #PrioritiesMatter #TimeOverThings #IntentionalLiving

The goal of every business is profit. But how do leaders create a clear path for their team to get there? I use a simple model: GPT ➡️ G – Goal: Define the win. ➡️ P – Priorities: What matters most right now. ➡️ T – Tasks: The daily actions that drive results. Leaders have to think this through and create clarity for their teams. Clarity builds confidence, and confidence drives profit. That’s steady leadership.

How did I go from full-time Army soldier to full-time entrepreneur? 👉 A mission plan—both yearly and daily. The transition wasn’t luck. It was clarity, structure, and execution. Whether you're in the military, business, or just trying to level up your life… You need to know: ✅ Where you’re going ✅ The plan to get there ✅ What you’ll do today to move towards that plan Don’t just wake up and hope for progress. Start every day with a mission plan. #SteadyLeader #MilitaryToBusiness #ArmyRanger #BusinessOwner #Entreorenuer #SchuylerWilliamson #Mission #Clarity #ClearPlan #BusinessPlan #ExecutePlan

As a leader, I’m always looking for the steady themes that point toward the future—and this year’s Clean Show made it clear: software and efficiency are driving our industry forward. Just like in leadership, the goal is simple—communicate clearly, serve people well, and remove friction so others can thrive. One surprise? Many software companies are leaning into subscription-based models. It reminded me that innovation often isn’t just about machines, but about how we structure the experience for customers. I left inspired. The industry is advancing—stronger machines, more durable furniture, more luxurious spaces—all pointing to a better experience for our clients. It’s exciting to think about what’s ahead for Laundry Luv and how we can continue to serve communities in a meaningful way. After every meeting, our team came back and asked, “Will this help us be more loving to our clients?” That filter kept us steady, grounded, and aligned with our values. At Laundry Luv, we’re building more than laundromats. We’re building places where we pput our customers first and make their experience the best it can possible be. This should be true in all companies. How are you constantly innovating? How are you serving others? How are you serving your team? How are you leading with love? @laundryluv #SteadyLeadership #LaundryLuv #TheCleanShow #SchuylerWilliamson #SteadyLeader #ServentLeader #StrongLeadership #LoveFirst

When your team shares something with you, how do you respond? Do they feel heard, hugged, or helped? Great leaders care for the whole person, not just the work. Your ability to listen well and respond with intention shapes the culture of your business. The best leaders don’t just manage tasks—they meet human needs. #SteadyLeader #SchuylerWilliamson #3Hs #HearPeople #LeadPeople #ManagePeople #LeadershipTips #LeadersListen #ServentLeader #CEO #CEOMindset

Lead Your Family Like You Lead Your Business We fight hard to earn respect from our teams and clients—but too often, we forget to give that same respect to our families. Jim Sheils offers a solution: The Family Board Meeting. Here are 5 ways to implement it: One-on-one with your child – make it personal and intentional. No electronics – full attention, no distractions. Let them choose the activity – show that their interests matter. Focused reflection and conversation – ask questions, listen, connect. Quarterly, four-hour blocks – treat it like a major business meeting. #SteadyLeader #FamilyFirst #IntentionalParenting #LeadYourFamily #TimeOverThings #PresenceMatters #SteadyParent
