@SebAaltonen I would be really interested in how you manage the synchronization between CPU and GPU material data. Do you upload every frame or do you have some sort of change tracking? Also, you somehow need a mapping from resource handle to GPU index to upload the instance data right?

Refactored GPU material data to global array (in uniform buffer), instead of uploading per draw call. Also made material data fp16 instead of fp32 (using unpackHalf2x16 GLSL intrinsic). CPU time: -0.7ms (-28% of high level render) GPU time: -0.3ms (-2%) On a 99$ Android phone.

I didn't play HS for quite some time but I decided to check out the new expansion. It's really fun! I played the Hound Hunter list from @HSReplayNet today on my way to legend with 72% WR. It seems like a really good ladder deck rn. #HS_HUN
