Look I really want to have faith in this new show but like man, some of these concepts and the especially promo stuff just makes genuinely wonder what the thought process was. So many of these faces lost their distinctive features even more so than the old CG series or AEG did…

After reading this thread, I seriously applaud Gooseworx as a writer for not portraying this as Black and White; everyone in this series is Morally Grey with their own strengths and weaknesses. Everyone including Caine are trapped in this hell hole that they don’t understand.

why do some ppl act like Edward can't be a wise and mentorly grandpa AND non-confrontational to a fault simultaneously? These things do not contradict each other. Even wise people aren't flawless.

the unfortunate thing about Edward is that 90% of people in the fandom do not understand his character on a fundamental level he is not your based chad grandpa, that man is severely repressed with a savior complex and many insecurities that he refuses to share

I never understood Thomas fans' hate for Emily. When they introduced her back in 03 (technically 04 in Australia) I thought she was awesome and wanted all the toys. Always had her as a top ten choice of engines for my train sets. One of the first tomy engines I got!
