@BrunoBeidacki @mpopovichREP @GFRFlashReport I can see it, we made it to the NIT quarters last season. We had a similarly strong season, with Miami likely in the bubble and Akron likely to get the conference bid, I think it would have to be us unless Toledo were snuck in.

One big takeway: Even though the Flashes have 24 wins, head coach Rob Senderoff is not optimistic about the them getting a postseason invitation. One option for mid-majors was eliminated this week when the College Basketball Invitational was canceled.

@GFRFlashReport The most depressing and clueless second half of basketball I’ve probably ever seen live. Lack of smart shot selection, defense getting burned consistently, can’t even nail free throws, outcheered by the away section. Cant win the tournament like this.

Kent State getting punked, clowned, abused and dominated at home in front of a sold out crowd, against their rival. Playing like an absolute deer in headlights, disappointing for sure. And to be out toughed? Can’t stand for it, someone needs to “draw a line in the sand” sometime

@SSN_KentState Was right about as good of an angle as you can get. My favorite part was seeing the arena erupt like that after coming back to life as we chipped at the lead. Fought like hell to comeback and I hope they bring that energy and fight on Friday!
