Tom Mulcair on Pierre Poilievre's Joe Rogan appearance: "I thought it was an outstanding piece of political communication, and it was bookended by ... frankly one of the best political speeches I've heard any Canadian political leader give on Canada-US relations in a long time."

What's the case for new pipelines? New report finds $31B economic lift — & 112,000 jobs – for Canada from new oil pipelines “I can’t think of anything else that would give such a large jolt to the CDN economy over a 10-yr period,” says ATB's Mark Parsons. calgaryherald.com/opinion/column…

The best time to build a pipeline was ten years ago, the next best time is now. We must build new pipelines West, East, North and South –without delay, and without hesitation – to supply Asian and European markets with safe, reliable, and responsibly produced energy products.

The belly of this ship holds $250 million of LNG. It should be Canadian. When I unblock our resources, it will be Canadian.

@BobAllan23 @Jayde8700 True, the provinces own the resources. The problem is Ottawa still manages to make developing them feel like running an obstacle course in ski boots.

@SteelStewzy @Jayde8700 Canada doesn’t own Alberta’s oil, but there is a lot of resources and other provinces. The Canada refuses to develop. Every province could be wealthy if they ditched Ottawa.

Energy reality check: 🇨🇦 Canada → ~6 million barrels/day 🇳🇴 Norway → ~4 million barrels/day 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia → ~10–11 million barrels/day Norway used its oil to build a $1.5+ trillion oil fund, which is one of the largest wealth funds on Earth. Canada has far more resources than Norway yet we keep acting like developing our own energy sector is a problem. Imagine how prosperous Canada could be if we treated our oil the way Norway did. Norway treats oil like a national asset. Canada treats it like a political problem.

The media struggle session happening with Brady (and Jake) is exhausting. Just move on and play hockey. Apparently we now hold American athletes in Canada to a higher account than our own politicians. It’s comical to me.

BREAKING: The Alberta and Canadian governments have reached a historic agreement that will unleash the Alberta energy sector, create tens of thousands of jobs, and  attract billions in new investment. This deal includes the potential for an additional 1.4 million barrels-per-day in pipeline capacity to the west coast, almost tripling Alberta oil exports to Asian markets. Ottawa has also agreed to drop the oil and gas production cap and suspend the Net-Zero power regs, so Alberta can focus on reducing emissions through our TIER system and world-leading CCUS technology instead. Although this is a massive win for Alberta and Canada, we will still hold the federal government accountable for keeping their end of the bargain. There’s a lot of work left to do so let’s roll up our sleeves and get the job done Alberta! See details of our full announcement here: alberta.ca/release.cfm?xI…

Here’s what’s happening in this campaign. Mark Carney is campaigning to make you afraid of your own shadow, and Pierre Poilievre is campaigning to give you hope. Ask yourself if you’re voting out of fear or voting for a better Canada? That’s all that really matters.

Mark Carney didn’t cancel the carbon tax. He set the rate at zero. It matters because he can increase it anytime he wants, without a vote, should he win. It also matters because he’s spent the last decade evangelizing about the importance of a carbon price for the world. He’s never said it’s bad public policy. He’s said it’s bad politics right now. He hasn’t said he will repeal the legislation should he win. He hasn’t even said he won’t raise the rates. Read his book. He’s told us what his plans are. I can’t believe how few people are holding him to account for this.

So far Pierre is: -repealing bill C69 -15% income tax cut -capital gains tax cut -cuts GST on homes (up to $1.3mm) -defer capital gains if reinvested in Canada -travel tax breaks for workers -crime/catch-and-release reforms -getting rid of annual alcohol tax increases (go back to 2017 levels) -will build pipelines (repeal bill C69) -TFSA top up -deport criminals -will protect dental & childcare programs -was responsible for axing the carbon tax His platform is about wealth creation. He is running laps around Carney.

There you have it folks, The biggest concern that boomers have is Donald Trump because they been spoon fed by MSM so they will vote for the Liberals who have failed foreign affairs with everyone but terrorists. They are the group that cares the least for reducing cost of living. All demographics just want to have what boomers had but Liberal boomers are saying no. Despicable.
