@HanClanSolo77 Everything’s better when you’re winning. But at the same time we all follow the teams for different reasons, fans can be happy to see someone back they like and still want the team to win also. A new signing should lighten the mood however, if you want to win.. hire a fin.

I don’t know how bad other fanbases are but the amount of clan fans that care more about how likeable a player is compared to their actual ability is quite staggering. Couldn’t care less if you’re a gobby grumpy shite if you can stop 93 percent or more of pucks fired at you

In a small sample size with the Steelers, you could already see Steele’s composure and calmness on the puck. Now we’re seeing it on the GB stage too.. and then some. Mature beyond his years, plays with the poise of a veteran at just 22. Size already, skill is showing.

@Door14Hockey speed, skill, chaos and passion rolled into one sport. 100mph, where one hit, one save or one shot can change everything in seconds. Even a ‘boring’ game holds more excitement than most other sports.

@TheDudleyDave Kevin Moore came over to chat to some Steelers fans after a game this season. Easy to see why guys want to play for him, not a bad word to say about the guy.

Very soon I’m guessing..will say this Gleason re-signing has astounded me,assumed one of,if not all,the Arena teams would’ve been all over him,giving Blaze little or no hope..a sensational announcement,well done to all involved

A lot of us don’t know that level of detail and hold him in contempt for some horrendous comments over the last few years…with the knowledge in hand, you can see the sarcasm but without it, you can’t .

@SteelerJb Clear quality on his stick but one would question a lack of motivation at times for a player of his pedigree - that said joining mid way through a crisis and nobody knows what’s going on behind the scenes. No ill will his way, still put up crucial points.

A bit harsh imo. Not easy to come into a struggling team mid season and put up points, and he did that. Not bothered about him going but wouldn't slag him off either. Could have worked harder but we had plenty of guys that tried hard but couldn't do what he can with the puck

@amarieb1965 @ClanIHC Wouldn’t particularly say his reception in return was much better from fans and players, but at the end of the day he knows the league and if he can bring value to taking the club forward it shouldn’t matter.

@TheHockeyBrit I thought he would have suit the Fox system extremely well but he will be a good piece for Cardiff none the less. For me Manchester might have a nice new arena and clear better investment but nothing is guaranteed, Cardiff always challenger.

@steelthepuck I don’t think he will manage to replace the production left by Welsh but he brings a bag of leadership qualities and stability on the ice, rarely flustered and calm on the puck.

League MVP locked in for 2 more prime years, getting this deal sorted at the start of summer is a big piece of business for Foxy. A top line centre will further unlock Balmas’s threat.
