I really enjoyed the short to the point presentation this year though. I felt I learned everything I was interested in and seeing a bit more gameplay in the aftershow was a nice idea imo.

@ItsRaito @doctor4t_ You can see woodland mansions generating in the pale garden in some shots so they 100% used dark oak forest as a base lol. Almost certain that this will be fixed up a bit in actual snapshots

visually, I originally felt a little disappointed, but I see the vision and it's growing on me mechanically... ohhhhhhh boy I think I am in love

@SteelmanMC_ Imagine if you could have it continuously spawn silverfish as it will never die as long as the creaking heart is in the world. Might be too powerful though lol.

Seeing complaints that there's no "reason" to go to the pale garden in the 1st place 1. Minecraft is a sandbox game, you create your own motivations, that's part of the point 2. Might be true if you've got a more survival/adventure focused playstyle, but it's great for builders

@kmb42600 It feels like (imo) the creaking heart is basically the "loot" you can get from them. Obviously we don't know everything it can do yet but it seems like it'll have some redstone applications based on what we saw during the aftershow

@SteelmanMC_ I think it'd be cool though if the creaking had some sort of drop at least, rather than just a danger to be avoided (which you can just do easily by sleeping it seems?)
