@MiddleRights @TheMaineWonk I think that it’s really difficult to takedown extremist religious regimes because essentially you are trying to win against an idea. And religious extremists will gladly die for their beliefs. That being at the core of this war should terrify everyone.

It all depends kind of on a few factors. 1. What we can do until the 90 day mark when the war powers resolution act of 1973 ends and it becomes a congress vote to keep going. If we don’t progress the same rate we have the second half and dont get the votes to keep going. No issues if we’ve pulled out for the several years what we’ve done will benefit from a 3 month campaign. 2. It’s not as much as us finishing a regime change in that time, it’s doing enough for the Iranians non IRGC, to have a chance to take over more with Israel aid and we can pull back other than a fraction of currently there or currently heading. Reza said the other day, we(Iran) will take one city back at a time. 3. I’m not for a massive troops on ground in the next 1.5-2 months. But not opposed for them on Kharg island and taking that over temporarily, which greatly diminishes their strait power besides some asymmetrical warfare/guerrilla warfare with stragglers. 4. No I don’t want troops to ever push into the mountains. If we can push them back to them, I’ll take that as a win and think Israel and non IRGC can handle it from there while mainly Israel and us lesser capacity bombs the shit out of them. 5. I look at this in more of a long term standpoint not a 40-90- hopefully less than 6 months or a year timeframe for the next 20-100 years of the benefit of IRGC being destroyed. I already tried to sign up for the navy but got flagged for BS health issues a month prior to the start of this conflict, I’m sure if it gets more severe, a waiver would be easier to get for what flagged me. And I’d go and die if that was my fair to save future generations from dealing with an IRGC wanting revenge and possible nukes. But all in all, if we pulled out now, far from a failure, but we won’t leave Israel hanging and the Middle East allies who are about to hop in hanging. I can’t think of a better use of our $1 trillion military budget. Trumps meeting with chinas president in 2.5 weeks will be very important to keep an eye on. Japans PM already said last week trump is the only person who can bring world peace and stepped up the alliance with trade and new oil deal from Alaska. It’s an interesting time, but one for the history books if we can do a bit more. This 2 month slight Dow jones dip has nothing on the boom if we are successful for the world. Goodnight

Enough to start recruiting 12 year olds. Like are you aware the difference in battle from even a decade ago with military technology, let alone 20+ years ago dude? So much can be done remotely(like it has) once they lose majority of defense systems(like they have) and their airforce(like they have). Remember the navy commander a few days ago challenging us to come closer and he died within 48 hours 😂. Literally just have to push the remaining scared IRGC into the mountains, help the free Iranians take city by city and give them some tools and it’s a wash, while Israel stays bombing the shit out of them in their hiding places and we give less and less support until the strait is 90% open.
