3 things that look like laziness but are actually shame: 1. Procrastinating on something you're good at (finishing would mean being seen) 2. Starting over constantly (completing means it can be judged) 3. Staying busy with small tasks (associating important tasks with worth)

It's not fun to clean up someone else's sloppy code, but it is satisfying when you get through it.

@mrblackstudio @framer Makes sense. I wasn't sure if Framer workshop would allow you to import 3rd party libraries. The native API is pretty impressive and not having to depend on 3rd party is great. All your work is really inspiring. Look forward to seeing more.

Yeah, mostly native. The audio side is being handled with the Web Audio API rather than a heavy third party library. That gives me a lot more control over the analysis, band splitting, trigger logic and timing without extra overhead or mystery behaviour in the middle. A few other bits may support specific parts of the system, but the core audio processing is native.

Dithualiser made in @framer Workshop. Play any song, or feed any live instrument and it analyses and reacts in real time. It’s now become so unique that you’re basically never seeing the same frame twice. Which was always the goal. Under the hood: Live audio analysis Beat triggered movement 24 frequency band splitting Random time triggers living within the frequency logic Splined visuals across image, text, video and GIFs Animated dithering Ghosting, but not the silent kind Duplicate line systems Custom mode logic Sound driven transitions Submode switching Parent shell to child scene architecture As the sounds build, the visuals keep evolving with them. This clip is only showing 3 child modes. So far I’ve built nearly 30.

@schutzsmith I agree with this and have been saying it for awhile. The amount of time I spend carefully designing / building a CMS that gets destroyed when handed over is crazy. Most clients think a CMS allows them to do anything that can imagine even when you explain it's not the case.

Plain html, css, and JavaScript over FTP is perfectly fine for most websites that were over engineered with a CMS. 99% of the time the CMS is only used by the developer anyway.

Morning @Office I'm being charged for a product I haven't be able to access for 1+ year. No ability to sign in to the admin to cancel, your automated phone system continuously ends the call, and there is no way to speak to a human about the issue. How can I get this resolved?
