That means paramedics were sitting in hallways with patients for 103 minutes at a time, instead of responding to calls in the community. The SHA said it’s sitting just under its goal of responding to the most urgent 911 calls in under 9 mins, 90% of the time.

Offload delays were mentioned by multiple people who reached out to me about this story. SHA said the goal is to have a patient off a stretcher and into an ER bed within 30 minutes of arrival. From Nov. 7-13, the wait time at Saskatoon’s RUH was approx 103 mins, 71 mins at SPH.
