I don't know who came up with this idea of teaching two cohorts of kids (some in person, socially distanced, some online) simultaneously but it's wrong. It's two jobs. It's not good for kids, and it's not good for teachers.

Super proud of these @SanJacSuns! They came in early this morning to learn about the importance of phonics instruction and it’s impact on comprehension. While they gathered and grew their knowledge, their neighbor teacher greeted their students. It takes a village!

Tip from a wise educator whom I admire: when you move from rewriting entire sessions (why!?) to focusing on planning small groups/conferences, S growth SOARS. Why spend time rewriting sessions when they are done for you? Focus on what matters most. #tcrwp
