In January, when I published my femicide map, a few of my Welsh followers asked could I do it for Wales. I quickly realised it would be exceptionally difficult but I've worked on it every day since. This is for 500 women and girls killed in Wales. /1 google.com/maps/d/u/0/edi…

But the real credit goes to the people at Canolfan Pentre and those who support them, who work day in, day out to provide this support to people who need it. It's an honour to be associated with them. A big thanks to everyone who has contributed to our campaign.

Our campaign has been led by the awesome @ruthmosalski who's been doing it all while also being our political editor. It's a real privilege to be able to play just a small part in making Christmas just a little bit nicer and to perhaps ease the mental burden for a short while.

We recently heard a story about police officers coming across a pensioner whose only remaining food a few days before Christmas was a jar of cherries in the cupboard...

(PS I think the BBC is vital and outstanding in too many ways to list. It should be fiercely protected. But both it and our governments need to think hard about the consequences of what it's doing).
