One thing that a lot of people don’t talk about when it comes to people being attracted to you is how lonely it is. Everyone constantly thinks “oh you have so many people around you” that no one actually reaches out to be around you because they always assume you have someone else. It’s been saddening, demotivating and lonely to me. Before I posted pictures of myself I had so many more close friends but ever since I posted them I only have everyone ever tell me that I have other people. Whenever I vent to my friends about being lonely I always get the “But Mal you have so many people” but meanwhile I sit in my room 90% of the time in silence watching videos till someone reaches out or playing games alone. I originally became a vtuber so people could like me for more than my looks due to excessive stalking and harassment in my personal life. I became a vtuber to make friends due to being a recluse for a year and it just pains me to see that all I am watered down to by the people around me the moment I felt comfortable in my looks again as just that. Just my looks. Sometimes I regret posting myself because I just wish I had friends that would just reach out to me for me. It sometimes just feels like I’m trapped in my own body and it’s suffocating.
