Earlier today, I opened the 9th Uganda Water and Environment Week at the Ministry of Water and Environment in Kampala. I commend the ministry and our partners for consistently organising this important annual event since 2018. In order to realise the Tenfold-Growth Strategy, we need to protect and manage our water and environmental resources sustainably. These resources are key enablers of our growth strategy. The Government will continue to work with its partners to deliver water and environmental services to the people of Uganda. @HonSekindi @OPMUganda @Parliament_Ug @min_waterUg

Reference can be made to the ministry of agriculture statement on coffee pests and diseases issued in 2021
