@Pirat_Nation Hypocricy, thy name is China.
This is the same country that built its industrial rise on policies like "Made in China 2025" - state subsidies, domestic preference, and long-term strategies to reduce reliance on foreign companies.
English

China has warned the EU not to proceed with its new “Made in Europe” industrial plan, threatening countermeasures if it harms Chinese companies.
The proposed Industrial Accelerator Act sets strict local content requirements, such as 70%+ European components for electric vehicles and batteries, plus quotas for low-carbon steel and aluminum in public projects.
The EU wants to rebuild its manufacturing base and reduce reliance on Chinese supply chains.
Beijing describes the rules as protectionist and “discriminatory.”

@mikedinslc @Danjsalt Your claim: "we aren’t being rounded up for mean tweets".
All I had to do was to give one example to refute your claim.
I did.
You being butt hurt about it doesn't erase that fact.
English

You found one, and with zero context. Last year the UK arrested 12,000 people for internet posts. The rest of Europe wasn't much better. It is asinine to believe you have free speech in Europe to the degree we do in America. But, I will concede there are those in America who are trying to change that.
English

@Puffupx @BigWave372 What kind of a horrible society produces people who think a working mother deserves to fall behind every month?
English

@BigWave372 Stupid bitch! How’s that his problem? That’s how the system works, if you don’t prepare for it you will get stupid people like her making excuses.
She decided to have that kid I assume, all her decisions led her to that job at the bank. There is no one to blame but her.
English

@ratlpolicy @Jbruckner6 I would agree that Russia is an adversary, but not necessarily an enemy. They have an eastern European hegemony at best.
US and Russian interests sometimes overlap, usually they do not. They are actually a more serious country than most of western Europe.

NATO is a military alliance, not a group of Trump-loving countries. Finland has a very powerful military & a strong antipathy to Russia, our shared enemy. That's why they're an excellent addition to NATO.
John Ʌ Konrad V@johnkonrad
Why did we let Finland into NATO? Any nation who hates us more than Turkey should go fend for themselves.
English

@mikedinslc @Danjsalt Arrested and jailed for 37 days over a Charlie Kirk meme.
Perry County, Tennessee.

English

@Danjsalt 3 times as many Europeans die annually from lack of air conditioning as there are gun deaths in America. And, we aren’t being rounded up for mean tweets while watching our daughters being raped by gangs of Muslims. So, eat a dick, cuck.
English

@theEagl30155907 @jncrlsprzgrc @BergenFella "We didn't use our bases in Europe" - except for the ones you actually used.
US bombers flew from RAF Fairford and relied heavily on Europe as a logistic hub.

English

@jncrlsprzgrc @BergenFella Don’t worry about us, Carlos. America is always one step ahead. That is why WE have ships, people who actually volunteer for our military as well as free speech. We did well without using OUR bases in Europe during the bombing of Iran.

Wow. Several years ago, it would be hard to imagine a story like this. Now, it's not routine, but not anyhing out of the ordinary.
A ground robot evacuated a 77 year old Ukrainian lady from Lyman. Her home of 53 years was destroyed by Russians.
She was walking along a shelled road when pilots of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade spotted her.
They sent a ground robot to her rescue, covered with a blanket saying "Grandma, get in!"
Three other civilians who were also walking were escorted by drones to the evacuation point where an armored vehicle took them to safety.
The operation lasted four hours.

@SaltyGoat17 If America built it, then we take it with us or scuttle it.
Nothing gets left behind intact.

@xsandman00 @Microinteracti1 @SanMiguelNews This isn't just about who needs them. It's about whether partners can rely on the US to deliver when it matters.
In defense, trust is part of the product. And once that trust starts to erode, 'best on paper' is worth about as much as the Emperor's new clothes in a snowstorm.
English

@StenstromNils @Microinteracti1 @SanMiguelNews Other than Ukraine/Taiwan, who else would need them? Priority should rightfully go to the US and Ukraine, who are currently involved in conflicts. If another conflict arises, then we can reassess, but Russia is having enough issues with Ukraine, they aren’t a threat to Europe.
English

The United States has just nuked its own arms export business. Not with a missile. With a phone call.
Pete Hegseth rang Estonia’s defense minister and told him the HIMARS and Javelin deliveries are on hold.
Indefinitely. Months, not weeks. No timeline. No alternative. Just: sorry, we’re busy bombing Iran.
And that’s it. Twenty years of patient alliance-building, vaporized in a Monday morning call.
Here’s what European defense planners now know for certain: American weapons come with an asterisk. The asterisk reads “subject to cancellation whenever Washington decides its own adventure takes priority.”
You can sign the contracts. You can train your soldiers. You can build your entire defensive posture around US systems. And then one day, the ammo stops. No warning. No plan B.
Estonia is already shopping elsewhere. So is everyone else, with the kind of focus that only comes from genuine betrayal.
The Americans think this is a pause. Europe knows it’s a divorce.

English

@HalfBreedHombre @Xzamilloh @DeanoMartino1 @ChristnNitemare ...he flamboyantly declared from within the closet.
English

@xsandman00 @Microinteracti1 @SanMiguelNews They may be the best systems on the market - but if they're stuck in a backlog when they're needed, they're about as useful as the Emperor's new clothes in a snowstorm.
English

@Microinteracti1 @SanMiguelNews They’re on hold because the demand is too high (doesn’t matter if it’s domestic or international demand). Demand is high because it’s the best product on the market. Shopping elsewhere is only temporary to supplement demand. Enjoy your inferior product in the meantime.

@jurgen_nauditt It's called STRATEGY for the normal person. Keep quiet the more you speak the the more you're lack of intelligence is shown. Sit back and watch the Chess Master deal with Iran. Thank you for your attention to this matter 🫡🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🫡
English

Trump, the biggest failed strategist in US history, has plunged America into a strategic catastrophe.
During his self-proclaimed “victory parade” against Iran, he squandered at least 45% of the US's precision-guided missile arsenal in just seven weeks—including half of all THAAD missiles and nearly 50% of Patriot interceptor missiles. This isn't some fake news blog reporting this, but CNN, citing a CSIS analysis and internal Pentagon data. The result? An “imminent risk” of munitions depletion should a real conflict erupt in the coming years—for example, with China. Trump has ruined the US defense capability for years to come.
And for what?
For nothing.
No regime change in Iran. No destroyed nuclear program. No strategic breakthrough. Just a shaky ceasefire that gives the mullahs time to rearm while America stands naked. Trump, the great “Art of the Deal” master, has once again only produced hot air – and in doing so, burned through the most expensive and scarce weapons in the USA like a pubescent boy with fireworks.

@kufrekoffi @Whiledvid Your argument has the structural integrity of a damp sponge in a philosophical hurricane, you utter nitwit.
You're a fuckin' insult to evolution.
English

It only got to this point because comedian Zelensky created that business. He started a war that was never supposed to happen in the first place, and has since run an authoritarian and I'd be so honest and call it a semi dictatorial regime, cashing in big from Joe Biden, a little bit from grandpa Trump, all at the expense of innocent American taxpayers sweat.
And you even forgot, You could equally point to the Colombian Mercenaries, Finns, Hungarians, Americans, and even Chinese mercenaries fighting on the Ukrainian side. This shows how Zelensky, through his actions, turned the conflict into a business for all nationalities, trading lives, including those of his own people on it, all for his personal greed.
