@FFA_Bean @octagonalpaul Platformer battle royales aren’t necessarily Fall Guys knockoffs by default. It’s just that the ones we’ve had, like Stumble Guys for example, are comically similar to Fall Guys.

@octagonalpaul @Stentric_ The core issue is that they aren't the original devs so they COMPLETELY lack the initial vision and creative spark. You can't just copy someone's work and expect to make it better when you don't FUNDAMENTALLY understand the magic that made the game so special in the first place

The reason I haven’t quit Fall Guys yet is because I just genuinely really like it. I never really played Fall Guys for the views or money in the first place. I just have a strong attachment to this game. I think I have Fall Guys autism or something.

@octagonalpaul I mean tbf it’s pretty much all been cheap mobile games so far. Fall Guys hasn’t had any high quality competition. If Nintendo made one with Mario characters where you compete online in 3D Mario levels with Odyssey style physics/movement, that would be the peak of video games.

There’s something about this game that’s so distinct from any other game. Literally no other game gives me the same feeling. I think I just really like platformer games and this is the only good competitive online platformer game so far.
