Hey all, I wanted to pop back on to just express my gratitude for all the love and appreciation that has been poured onto me from all angles. These past few days have been an utter nightmare, but the love of my friends has made this hell just a little more bearable. Thank you.

Update, and a TW for close family death. My father passed away this afternoon. I’m still utterly in shock and it’s going to take awhile to be somewhat normal again but we’re going to try our best. Thank you all for the well wishes.

I’m bracing myself for what is likely to be one of the hardest days of my life. I’ll likely be out or low activity for awhile due to likely family loss. I won’t be ok for awhile but we’ll get through it. We’ll get through it because that’s all we can do sometimes.

If you have a good relationship with family, hold them close. My dad is having another medical emergency, and I’m hoping for the best but it’s still really scary.

@Uchumu_ I mean, if you've consistently eating questionable raw seafood it's a risk, but you're probably fine. Most seafood, especially that which is sold to be eaten raw, gets flash frozen to like -30F which pretty much takes care of the parasite risk.

I love sushi, and ceviche, I probably have parasites inside me, don't touch me.
