Our NHS is so precious. We are privileged to have access to it and privileged to work in it. I will remain loyal until my dying day. Never take it for granted. Feed it and nurture it. We are lucky!

It is estimated that 50% of all NMC Registrants work in a Community Setting & 90% of Health Care is delivered outside of hospital. Doesn’t feel like that from the national narrative, but with more acute & complex care at home community really is the place to be a nurse 💕@TheQNI

I’ve updated my “Basic needs at work” charter to include tick box & a template If anyone thinks these things are not affordable, NHS spent over £6 billion on bank & agency last year. Only a fraction of that is needed to stop some staff leaving & feel valued = less gaps
