Final Devon Prep beats Obama Academy, 58-41. The PCL is bringing back another one. Tide dynasty only continues onward . Might be awhile before we see another state champ finish at 10-18 on the year.

@rieske09 @PaulRobertsCuse No transfers. This group developed the old-fashioned way - working every day in a tough program. JV takes its lumps in the PCL, but those guys practice against varsity starters all year. That experience and hard work show up when it’s their turn.

Devon Prep has a record of (8-18) and is headed to the state semifinals. The Tide beat Scranton Prep 62-55 in the PIAA-4A quarterfinals. Devon Prep has won 3 state championships in the last 4 years. They lost their entire starting lineup to graduation from a season ago.

@egervase @PaulRobertsCuse Record doesn’t tell the whole story. DP plays one of the toughest schedules in PA-Philly Catholic League against many of the state’s best players. In PIAA District 12, the top 2 teams in each class qualify for states — this year that was Arch Carroll & DP. It’s how PIAA set it up

Jason Fisher (@coach_J_Fisher) took over @DevonPrepBBall in 2013. Fisher has led @athletics_devon to five consecutive #PIAABasketball quarterfinal appearances. During this run, @DEVONPREP is 19-2 in the state tournament with the only three state titles in program history

PAISAA Boys Basketball Championship: Hill 74, Phelps 56 | Ethan Johnston scored 13 of his 22 points in the 3rd quarter as Hill outscored Phelps 27-9 and cruised to their 1st State Championship since 2018. Ben Natal added 21 for the Blues who finish the season with 24 wins! 🏆
