All entirely sensible if you want to deliver change quickly. Far from being dreadful, there is little that is actually wrong with the legal framework of the TCPA system; what it lacks is adequate resources and funding, political leadership and effective policies.

Huge admission from Labour. They are not seeking to overturn the planning system after all. New towns plan and urban densification operates within the framework of the dreadful TCPA. A senior Labour source told me policy just “tweaks the system” and is “realistic” not radical.

@RebeccaLRyan We end up in a viscous cycle where the buses are rubbish so we don’t use them, so then they reduce the service, so they are even less usable etc etc !

I’m in #Leeds for an event this evening. The trains are unreliable, it’s a half hour walk to the stop for the Leeds bus and the park and ride’s last bus is 6.40. So I’m left with paying £10 for the joy of a few hours parking. Leeds has so much potential but we deserve better.
