Please read this statement from the family of Rebecca Lobach. Read every damn word. And then share it with anyone you know who still cheers on this sorry excuse for a President.
The President of the United States, the Vice President and the Secretary of Defense claimed, without evidence, that this accomplished warrior was only in the pilot’s seat because of “DEI”.
She was in the top 20% of cadets nationwide—and it’s pathetic and disgusting that her family had to issue this statement to the country to justify her seat even in her death because the leaders she served under blamed her for the accident in front of the White House press corps within 12 hours of the crash on baseless speculation that she was unqualified because she was a woman.
If you’re an American—or even if you’re just a decent person—this should make you burn.

Despicable. As families grieve, Trump should be leading, not lying. We put safety first, drove down close calls, grew Air Traffic Control, and had zero commercial airline crash fatalities out of millions of flights on our watch.
President Trump now oversees the military and the FAA. One of his first acts was to fire and suspend some of the key personnel who helped keep our skies safe. Time for the President to show actual leadership and explain what he will do to prevent this from happening again.

Our hearts break for the families who lost loved ones in the tragic plane and helicopter crash at DCA. Michelle and I send our prayers and condolences to everyone who is mourning today, and we’re grateful to the first responders who are doing everything they can to help under extremely difficult circumstances.

Nicholas Winton helped 669 Jewish children escape the Nazis. His efforts went unrecognized for 50 years. Then in 1988, while sitting as a member of a TV audience, he suddenly found himself surrounded by the kids he’d rescued, now adults. I like to remember this every Jan 27th.

When I first arrived to Washington DC in 1993, Senator Moynihan told me - “if you love America, America will always love you back.”
Today, I’m humbled to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I know that immigrants are bridges…we build the longer tables that connect us all. And I believe we all share a responsibility to create an even better America, one where the American dream can by achieved by everyone…regardless of what you look like or where you come from.
Chefs like me feed the few, but our destiny is to feed the many. To be an army of goodness where a plate of food becomes a plate of hope…a light in dark times. Together, we can change the world through the power of food.
I owe this tremendous honor to so many people who have shown me the true meaning of empathy, of generosity, of putting yourself at the service of others. To my family, my friends, my partners…and to every cook and chef around the world who inspires me by feeding humanity every day and moving us forward…I say: gracias. Thank you!

WATCH: Fans have said it all season, "Let. Him. Cook."
In his final game at Faurot Field, Brady Cook sealed the win with an unbelievable rushing touchdown. It's a fit ending for the St. Louis kid who gave everything he had to this fan base. @KOMUsports @BenArnetKOMU
