I had the opportunity to present my work at @TheFCRR this week, surrounded and supported by female leaders in my field. I hope all women get to feel so empowered by their leaders regarding their work and life passions. One day, I hope to pay this experience forward. @poWOMENer

@cultofpedagogy My 17 year old and his friends do listening sessions on spotify - its like a group play list in real time that anyone can add to or modify in the moment. Last year when his school did not have a cell phone policy they apparently had different theme songs for different classes

If you have a teenager in your life, please do me a favor and ask them this question: Do you create and give music playlists to friends, significant others, etc.? (I'm trying to figure out if there is a modern-day equivalent to our mixtapes...is it still a thing?)

Just say no to “letter of the week,” but how many letter should you teach? Quick compilation of 3 studies that addressed pace and rate of introduction in K.

3/10/23 CCS K-12 Reading Leadership Team attended (virtually) the Aim Institute symposium to improve how we support students' language and reading comprehension. Always learning = better for kids.
