can't make people like me, and they aren't obligated to, but leaving asmr behind was critical for me to survive as a person nomatter what. this being said, i'm finally able to enjoy listening to asmr sometimes again and have nothing against those who do it. tldr: do what you love

it was really hard on me when i started doing variety again. people were very loud about how they would only watch my asmr, or how my voice scares them during regular streams. both the viewers and streamer 'friends' who kissed my ass stopped coming. (continued...)

This is how smaller creators eventually have their dreams realized! Unlike huge creators who are most likely already known by many, have more chances for fan art, clips, other opportunities, etc. Smaller creators, myself included, do heavily rely on the help from our audiences to help us become more known in the space! Having fans that help in this type of way is how your favorite more niche creator eventually gets seen! You, doing your part, make a HUGE difference in their journey as a creator! This is why I always say & genuinely mean it when I say "Thank you for supporting me!" To everyone who makes or commissions fanart.
