No one. The powers of the Catholic Church were based in pagan Rome first. They just converted because Constantine did it a a political move. The Catholic power has always been corrupted. Even to the point of killing millions of true believers because they would not bow to the Roman pontiff. His-story is there for us to study. Prophecy was given to tell us before it happened so our faith would be strengthened.

So hold on, let me get this straight? The Book of Revelation was written around 95-96 A.D. One of the last verses in Revelation has to do with adding and removing books of the Bible. Revelation 22:19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll. The First Council of Nicaea convened in 325 A.D. So who gave them permission to remove books? As I'm seeing it, nobody did and they were warned but they did it anyways.

The Mark of the Beast is when Satan appearing in what seems like the 2nd coming of Jesus and declaring Sunday as the new sabbath. The Catholic Churches changed the true sabbath of creation Genesis 1-3 to Sunday after Constantine claimed to have converted his pagan Rome to papal Rome “conversion” .

I have to admit, Paul's writings on head coverings and hair length in 1 Corinthians 11 has me puzzled. Why such rules? Do men really have to take their hats off when praying? Do women really have to wear a head covering, otherwise shave bald? Is long hair really disgraceful for a man? I have to wonder if these sayings are idiomatic and we lost some context here. I am still waiting for the chapter where Peter converted to Catholicism. The Bible recorded Saul becoming Paul, yet somehow forgot to record Peter going from Jewish apostle to Roman pope.
