No one should ever be afraid to get older. The myth of age slowing us down, gaining too much weight, loosing our looks, libido, pulling power, Sense of humour…. It’s all a matter of choice, discipline and decisions. It’s not the norm for a lot of us. For us who do not relate to the stereotype, let’s all say together, we reject it. 💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾 2014 was the start of my Cancer journey.

Jon loves this song soo much. He can’t sing to save his life but he sang it for me on our wedding night. It was soo romantic as he serenaded me in our honeymoon suite. Now, there isn’t anywhere far enough for me run to block that voice. I still love you though.

They way some of you need women to be miserable when they’re older, just so it fits your narrative that women who don’t conform will suffer in the end, is actually funny. And then when you see us happy, thriving, loved up on and cared for in a way you swore would never happen, it drives you crazy. Why are you, a young person with little to no life experience, speaking so confidently about a future you haven’t even reached yet, and may never understand?
