@AsheHsu Yes, I was even thinking that students might be distracted from their learning and be using social media inappropriately as well.

@brookegarcia_ I think that's a great way to reach students and parents! Parents can see what students are doing in the classroom too.

#CUIN6320 A1: I have a Twitter page for my class where I post updates and pictures of my class. My school also uses social media (Facebook) to keep parents informed.

A3 Some drawbacks to using social media, is that there can be less privacy as a teacher. Also students may become distracted with doing other things on social media instead of doing the assignment. #CUIN6320

A1 I think social media is a great way to engage students because it is a platform, they’re familiar with. Some ways this can be done is having students respond on twitter just like we are right now! #CUIN6320

@KEYS917 I really like this idea! I have been looking for ways students can participate even though they struggle writing or reading.

I found it helpful to use talking tools, such as Chatter Pix or Flip Grid during TELPAS. I had my ESL students practicing answering questions verbally. It really helped boost their confidence to speak and express their learning. #CUIN6320

@AWhiteMath @drbulentdogan Yes, I love using google forms. It's very user friendly! I also like how all the google products connect, it makes it easier for educators to get information all in one place.

A5 #CUIN6320 I think that I am good at analyzing the data. There are quite a few technology programs that take data into consideration. I think I need to improve on being a collaborator, especially right now. Since we are not with our team members, it has been hard to share ideas

A4 #CUIN6320 I would love to advance my knowledge and skills in more ways to bring technology to younger grades. It can sometimes be hard to find technology teaching tools that students can do on their own.

A3 I haven't followed that many technology trends, but I did do a bitmoji classroom this year! It took a lot of research to get it up and running! #CUIN6320

A2 I think that technology has been so useful right now! It allows quick and responsive replies to parents and teachers. For instance, zoom has transformed how teachers are getting information out! We are able to share our screen and be interactive with our students #CUIN6320
