i’ve never seen a player have less competitive spirit and fire than sascha zverev. we’ve talked about the talent level enough - the fact that this passionless, happy to roll over, woe is me player is #3 in the world is an absolute travesty for tennis. the sport deserves better than one of its marquee players banking on the consistent mediocrity of other players to achieve results. the second they raise their level and it’s not easy anymore he quits, absolutely embarrassing
