If we’re being honest, this isn’t really a discussion about $SNEK at all.
It’s a question of where standards are applied — and to whom.
A repayable loan suddenly comes under intense scrutiny during a market correction,
while years of grants, treasury drain, conference tourism,
and projects that produced nothing were met with silence.
That contrast alone says enough.
Because real investment discipline isn’t proven when prices go up,
it’s revealed when markets turn red and patience is tested.
If accountability only appears when conditions worsen,
then what’s being enforced isn’t responsibility —
it’s emotional convenience.
A healthy ecosystem shouldn’t reward those who consume the most resources,
but protect those willing to stay accountable for outcomes.

Did I understand this correctly? @snek received a loan of 5 million $ADA which it has to repay and will repay. People see that $SNEK is in a correction and are now attacking @goofy_crisp for not having started to spend money yet on listings on major exchanges. At the same time, all those people didn’t say a single word while many other projects were dipping into the treasury and receiving grants, spending $ADA on traveling to conferences around the world, playing marketing games, burning through project budgets, selling team allocations, and destroying their own projects’ futures while funding development with “free” $ADA they received. So many failed projects are behind us, so many that will never recover. So many received $ADA as grants, built absolutely nothing with those funds, and brought a big fat nothing to the ecosystem. And no one ever called them out, and no one ever will… And now those people who stayed silent for years are calling out SNEK, which received nothing as a gift, nothing for free, only a loan. This isn’t really a story about Snek at all; this is a story about the sick minds in our Cardano ecosystem, damn it… We didn’t even deserve better with people like that…
