@wessexwater No idea how to DM anybody. Swallows used the building attached to the main building via an opening on the east facing wall. This has now been sealed over with what looks like a wire mesh. They used the right hand opening.

@Stephen47629998 Hi Stephen, are you able to DM us some further details/images about what appears to be the issue here? We are not aware of any access issues or indeed any recent site activity so any further information would be helpful.

Disgusted to see that @wessexwater have blocked access for swallows to get to their nesting site at Tonedale water treatment works. The pair have bred there for at least the last 3 years.

Final walk of my few days away on the England Coast Path. 17 miles from Heswall to Chester. Only about 6 on the England Coast Path & about 6 on the Wales Coast Path.

Long walk today on the England Coast Path. First finished the Walk around the Mersey, then on through Birkenhead, New Brighton, Hoylake and West Kirby, to finish in Heswall. Luckily the weather was good, although windy.

Surprisingly nice walk today from Widnes to Bromborough. 2nd of my walks around the Mersey. A few miles to Birkenhead to finish it tomorrow morning, then back on the England Coast Path to Heswall.

@RWilkes1 Nice walk today. Promenade to Garston, Mersey Way & Trans Pennine Trail to Widnes. Tomorrow going to Bromborough, mostly urban but could be interesting.

Stephen, we walked round. I hope you found a good route. We do quite well.

The England Coast Path uses the ferry to cross the River Mersey to Birkenhead, but I’m walking the 45 miles or so around the river. Today 20 miles from Liverpool to Widnes

Today’s walk on the England Coast Path was supposed to be from Southport to Liverpool but because of the 40/50 mph headwind I walked it from Liverpool to Southport. Another 23 miles of the coast path completed.

Long walk today on the England Coast Path. 26 miles, from Preston to Southport, most of which was into a strong headwind. Forecast looks even worse tomorrow!

Today’s walk on the England Coast Path. 23 miles from Blackpool to Preston, following the Lancashire Coast Path for most of the way.

A week away walking another section of the England Coast Path . Some parts open, some not, but obvious where it will go. Today, 20 miles from Poulton - le - Fylde up to Fleetwood and around to Blackpool.

Last day away on the English Coast Path. North Landing to Filey. Not a long walk at 13 miles but very windy on the high cliffs. That’s another 130 miles completed on the Coast Path. Cleethorpes to Filey @NatTrailsUK

Today’s walk on the English Coast Path. Hornsea to North Landing near Flamborough. 23 miles of which the last 7 were on well walked and hence very muddy paths. A few caravan parks to walk through and a lack of waymarks didn’t help. @NatTrailsUK

English Coast Path. Yesterday Hull to Patrington. 25 miles on the Coast Path, plus 2 miles into Patrington for the bus. @NatTrailsUK

Today’s walk on the English Coast Path was from Immington around the coast, over the Humber Bridge, to Hull. 26 miles in glorious sunshine. @NatTrailsUK
