Team for Saturday? Mine would be: Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Zubimendi, Rice, Eze, Martinelli, Jesus, Saka. Tempted to go Havertz at CF (with Trossard at LW) but might be too much too soon for Kai.

@AFCwlw @AFCAMDEN Whilst everyone looks at goals and assists. Gyokeres offers so much more than Jesus. Jesus hinders us. I’d personally have for Leeds anyway Raya White Saliba Gabriel Cali Rice Eze Havertz Trossard Gyokeres Saka Even saka on the left and Madueke on the right.

@MrDtAFC Sell Jesus. Move him on. Gyokeres will come good if we start playing faster earlier ball into him. He makes runs consistently and nobody wants to take the risk with that pass. Always safe side to side passing from us.

Jesus is definitely not the answer. He's a good player to bring on in certain games, but he was the wrong one to bring on last night. Merino should have gone up front so he could drop into midfield and nullify Liverpool's, extra man. I actually cannot wait for Havertz to return. Gyokeres is not the answer, I'm afraid. We will have to address this position again in the summer.

@FootballEra_ Couldn’t agree more! Gyokeres is too easily scapegoated if he doesn’t score. Yet Jesus came on and was worse! We are actually worse when Gyokeres goes off because Jesus would rather run around looking busy than actually playing up front and giving us an outlet

The way Gyokeres got scapegoated you’d think Arsenal would suddenly become prime Barca when he went off. Instead of you to admit that the team was poor today you’re looking for easy scapegoats. Bar the defenders and Saka (in the first half) every single Arsenal player were poor today.

Went in a bit on Gyökeres last night, but think I’m ready to accept he isn’t at the level and won’t be successful here. I saw lots of physical + mental potential in this player; accepted he was a gamble worth taking. But the jump has been too big. When you watch your centre forward through the prism of screenshots and what others *aren’t doing* then you need to look closer to home.

@PaddyArsenal Gyokeres has to start all day long! Jesus is not a number 9. Never has been. Stick him on the left wing and let him cause a bit of chaos out there.

Think one of Gyokeres or Martinelli need to start against Villa to try and stretch them. But those two cannot play together. Saka-Jesus-Martinelli probably the best option.
