We’re off to the shops for mystery #Postcard Monday. Multiple services on offer which point to village rather than town. The only thing I can’t read is the name over the door, first initial H, last letter t. Annotated as Lodsworth, there seems no evidence to support this.

@AMooreye @ABridgen Totally agree, i think that the covid debacle turned the majority into zombies. Frightened to challenge anything anymore for fear of being mis-judged, ridiculed or whatever. Some of the best medicines are the ones that are harder to swallow. Debate is good, ignorance is not!

@StephenMarnick @ABridgen I agree — the lack of open-mindedness is exactly what keeps this stuck. But honestly, it’s not just about people refusing to budge… it’s also that many aren’t even debating the same facts anymore.

@GBNEWS ....a small but important point being continually reposted...the story headline would be more accurate if it read "Police force 'pauses' using facial recognition tech"...... the headline you use sends out the wrong message which, IMHO, makes it appear to be a final decision.

@AMooreye @SDetectorist Hi Allyson. It was not my coin and just those images to go on but @SDetectorist gave me enough to pass on and they were well pleased. I didn't take any credit lol . That all goes to the expert, modest man above!

@StephenMarnick @SDetectorist Hmm, from this cut half it’s tricky to tell much—looks like a rough fragment. Any chance of a clearer shot or a full view? Sometimes context makes all the difference.”

Hi @SDetectorist ...just wondered if there was anything you can glean from this cut half? It's not mine. It looks all a mess to me :-)

@AMooreye @DetectingDigsUK Hi Allyson, split second on seeing the colour, i thought a foil cap, bent and lifted it from laying flat with a bit of close soil on it and, before my eyes even looked, my brain told me, no, it's too heavy, even tho its under about 5g! for foil, my eyes saw details and BOOM Shock

@StephenMarnick @DetectingDigsUK Wow, that’s amazing luck! Being part of Detecting Digs UK for over a decade and now finding a second gold coin must feel special. What was going through your mind when you saw it in the soil?”

Great first few hours of a long weekender for me (and another guy!). I travelled over 3.5hrs to get here but i've been wanting to get back on a @DetectingDigsUK dig for a very long time, started off on this group about 12-14 yrs ago. How lucky am I? This is now my 2nd gold coin!

Here in Amsterdam at the Court of Appeal as a historic case moves forward. Expert witness testimony is being fought for against Bill Gates, Albert Bourla (Pfizer CEO), the former Dutch Prime Minister and others. Yes; Bill Gates MUST attend trial or send a lawyer... with a defence. He’s not wriggling out of this one! With the world’s attention fixed on war (understandably), this case is unfolding quietly... but its consequences will reach far beyond today. I’m here with Sasha Latypova, Shannon Joy, Andrew Bridgen and others to make sure this moment gets the attention it deserves! This is the beginning of public scrutiny and accountability; for the jab injured, the bereaved, and everyone who was told to stop asking questions. This case IS happening. Please share and follow me for updates - I’ve linked a video explaining this case. #COVIDJustice #Netherlands because #TheyLiedPeopleDied

Not a professional, by any stretch of the imagination, but very pleased with how these two shots I took on 4th March while at my hotel here in Hurghada. Egypt turned out. I think the bird is possibly a chiffchaff. I used a Nikon P900.

@Dave_H_King @SDetectorist ...also because most of the materials in clothing was natural i was reliably told they would bury old, unwanted clothes back in the fields...hence more buttons left behind.

@SDetectorist I wonder the same about all your buttons, it’s hard to imagine they were all lost while working in the fields? Easy to lose into night soil and onto the dung heap? Although it might be reasonable to question why anyone would be sewing on the toilet. 🤷‍♂️

A few thimbles that have been through the tumbler. Why do we find so many? I don't really know. I've heard of sacks being sewn up, or young girls practicing their needlework in the field, whilst father is working.
