Happy Lunar New Year from Da Nang, Vietnam.

Stepping away from the TDSB made me realize that all these years I’ve been standing too close to the elephant. Now that I see the whole elephant, things will be much different.

Ok STEM friends, help me understand this… the blue and white led lights don’t work with any other colours on the same circuit. We’re making paper circuits and it’s and it’s an interesting problem.

The things we appreciate as educators - tech that works, organized resources, beautiful spaces and feeling valued as a teacher.

Great first day of orientation at ASHK. Had to bring the kids along for the day and asked them to play basketball in the gym while we worked - came down at lunch to find them running the office staff through their obstacle course 😂😂

Swimming and bowling at the new apartment today. Walked the route to school, told not to feed any monkeys on the way - not sure if they were referring to my kids or actual monkeys. Will investigate further.

Moved into new apartment today and putting together a few items from ikea - lots of zip ties - so glad I ordered scissors to cut them. 🤣🤣🤣

Day 1 out of HK quarantine: changed hotels (how I missed bedroom doors), Starbucks coffee, found an apartment (kids are excited about pool and bowling alley), visited new school, ate delicious food! Ready to pass out…🥵
