What is the experience of depression like? It seems to be a widespread reality lately, but we shouldn't face it alone. Opening up to one another is a powerful tool for healing. I'm here if you ever need someone to talk to. #sad #MentalHealth #Depression #SelfCare #Health

I took a course in Science Fiction and Fantasy literature in college. One of the final essay topics was to recommend a book for the course. I made the case for Lord Foul's Bane as one of the most original works of fantasy since The Hobbit. I checked, but sadly it wasn't added to the reading list for the next semester.

@RichHosek That’s nice of you, thank you for making the case for Lord Foul’s Bane. Even if it didn’t make the syllabus, it means a great deal to me that you felt it belonged there.🙏🙏🙏🙏

@hemisphere65 I’m so glad the Second Chronicles spoke to you more strongly this time. Perspective can reveal things the younger eye misses. Covenant’s end was hard to write, so I’m grateful it carries meaning for you now.

@StephenRDona Finished in December and I honestly enjoyed the it more than the First! Maybe because I’m older now, but Covenant dying was clearly essential for the story. I didn’t appreciate that as a teenager. Now onto “Runes of the Earth”!

@StephenRDona That would be a very long list. I have many favorites for different reasons, different genre's, writers etc. But towards the top I suppose.....would be Aretha Franklin.
