My why for IP and wanting to work in entertainment: my grandmother, one of my favorite people in the world, started an a cappella group way back when and went touring across the country. They sold a lot of merch and ultimately screwed over a lot by their “managers”

Working on a case related to authentication from a large buy of sneakers and opposing counsel hired local counsel who has no clue about what's going on an just wants to use the legal process to rack up fees for his client and mine. Doesn't have a clue what "drop shipping" is. Frustrating when you are trying to keep costs down and to help both resellers.

Honda missed the moment. The second Cole announced he was hitting the road in a Civic, they should have jumped at the chance to support his cross-country trek. They had a layup and didn’t even lace up their sneakers.

Every week I talk to founders who've been operating for months, sometimes years, with no governance documents. No operating agreement. No founders' agreement. Just vibes and a group chat. For business owners: governance docs are your company's operating manual. They answer the questions you don't want to answer in a lawsuit: Who owns what? Who decides what? What happens when your co-founder ghosts you to go soul searching in Bali? For attorneys: governance gaps are job security, but let's be better than that. Educate clients early. The conversation is way easier at formation than after someone's already changed the bank passwords

@SneakerLegal @ConDetrimental Interestingly enough, “Las Vegas A’s” is currently published for opp and that one actually is owned by the group that owns the A’s, Athletics Investment Group llc, but a separate mark (Las Vegas Athletics), owned by the same group has a 2e and 2f OA
