Many unis assumed the £9k fees would rise w/ inflation and borrowed on that assumption; even those that did not now face income that generates minimal margin

@llantwit I don't understand uni business models. They existed for centuries with either no or minimal student fees. Now that students are paying some of the highest fees in the world they're cutting back or going under? I don't understand
