@LyalinDotCom You wouldn't have time to build these. You would have rage quit after I zergling rush'd you at the 2 minutes mark.

My friend & I were so good at Starcraft 2 multiplayer we made people rage quit on a regular basis. When you saw this arrive at your base, before you thought it was possible, it was too late. We pretty much never lost Not sure why this came back to me waiting for agent to finish

@Jonathan_Blow I wonder if you had considered not revealing that the worlds collide in the trailer, aiming for a surprise like in The Witness.

Anyone here using Google Cloud Run? How do you test changes without running the full pipeline every time—any lightweight tricks or tools ? @grok #CloudRun #DevOps #Testing

AWS/GCP/Azure can be exceptionally late to the "Agent Sandbox as a Service" party but still win as a mix of data access/permissions/locality and compliance are the moat. BYOC vendors still have an opportunity, but I think the door will shut on the rest.

I'm looking but surprised to find there is no open-source version of a screenless tracker like this or whoop. I don't want to be stuck seeing my data in their apps; I want to buy the sensors and vibe engineer my own dashboards + own my data. Is there anything like that?
Google@Google

Introducing Fitbit Air. It’s lightweight, screenless and comfortable enough to wear 24/7 — with a battery life* of up to a week. * Battery life depends upon many factors and usage and actual battery life may be lower.

This AI video has been going super viral on X, but there was one slight slop moment in this video (I don't know if people caught it) that I slowed it down for you. You can see both birds lip-sync the same voice line, which is common for AI models to do, which is annoying, so i consider this slight slop. but that'll obviously be fixed in due time
taoki@justalexoki

the only way this is slop is if you're genuinely retarded

@steren For example if I deploy my small api, having source, slo, yaml, etc. options makes no sense. Observability as main tab is also super oriented, I would love a less opinionated overview. Im noting a big improvement in speed since the last time I used it so congrats on that 🙏🏻

FYI, Cloud Run gives you *zonal* redundancy out of the box, which means that if GCP loses a zone, your worloads are automatically moved to healthy zones in the region. You can also build multi-*regional* architectures with automated fail over using service health.
Gergely Orosz@GergelyOrosz

Coinbase confirms they deliberately had no multi-zone support for their global trading service: meaning they knew if the AZ went down it operated in, all trading would stop. So all trading stopped for 8 hours yesterday. They will now (finally?) look into multi-AZ Overdue, IMO

@ngrilly @GergelyOrosz They shipped a clone called AWS App Runner 2 years after Cloud Run launched. It has now been deprecated.

OK this is a superb characteristic of Google Cloud Run I just learned Building zonal redundancy is a bunch of work… when a platform offers it, it’s worth paying attention to (don’t know of many platforms that do) Thanks @steren
