This year we have launched the IMS annual recognition awards to acknowledge the STERIS Business System (SBS). We are extremely pleased to announce the winners are Leicester for the highest overall SBS score and Tameside for the most improved SBS score.

On the 16th of June our Training Team attended a Careers and Advice Event for SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) in Sheffield where they met SEND students from across South Yorkshire to offer career advice and promote the STERIS IMS Apprenticeship Programme.

Today marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Week here in the UK. This year the national theme is loneliness. Throughout the course of this week, we will be working with our colleagues to raise awareness of the support we provide for any Associate who is struggling.

“This year I have swapped my Nespresso machine in favour of a cafetiere, I have also swapped my cleaning products for refillable options, switched to an induction hob for cooking, and have installed a new thermostat in an endeavor to reduce gas and electricity usage at home."

Today is World Earth Day. Over the last 12 months our Associates have been getting outside and participating in community environmental projects including: sunflower growing, tree planting, a community clean up, can collecting to support Helipads for Hospitals and much more.
