Imagine treating a serious data breach like a cheap political stunt. Absolute absurd behaviour from the NDP.

Today, in partnership with the Government of Canada, we announced a $68.5 million investment to support Alberta’s workforce amid ongoing global economic uncertainty. This funding will expand access to training and upskilling programs, helping workers adapt to a rapidly evolving labour market. Over the next three years, more than 7,800 Albertans will gain the skills and experience needed to succeed in the jobs of today and tomorrow.

Alberta’s population is growing fast, and every person counted in the census helps ensure our province gets its fair share of federal funding for the hospitals, schools, roads and services Albertans rely on.
Complete your census by May 12 and make sure Alberta’s contribution is fully recognized.

Alberta’s government is investing $2 million to advance planning for the expansion of the Strathcona Community Hospital.
Subject to planning, the project could add up to 120 inpatient beds, support approximately 4,100 additional surgical procedures annually, and enhance services including diagnostic imaging, ambulatory care, endoscopy, hemodialysis, pharmacy, laboratory services, and integrated mental health supports.
Thank you to the dedicated staff at Strathcona Community Hospital, the @StrathconaHosp1 for its continued support, and Minister @nateglubish for his strong advocacy for this community.

BREAKING: A Presidential permit has been approved for a new bitumen pipeline that will initially deliver more than half a million barrels per day of Alberta oil to facilities and refineries throughout the United States. This project is a joint venture between two great Canadian and US companies South Bow and Bridger using existing assets.
After years of advocacy from our government, and following the signing of the Canada-Alberta Energy Agreement last year, the federal government has lifted their oil and gas production cap. This means Alberta producers will be able to produce more of the oil that the world needs. It’s incredible to see that work already paying off with announcements like this.
The US is our most important trading partner and we will continue to deliver energy to help secure North American energy dominance.

Alberta’s government is investing more than $400 million in continuing care expansion.
Today I was pleased to announce over 1,100 net-new continuing care spots across the province today along with my colleague MLA Brandon Lunty and representatives from ACCA and the Salem Manor Society.
As part of Alberta’s Assisted Living Framework, Alberta’s government will continue to invest in spaces to help seniors age with dignity in the communities they call home.

Alberta has been built by people who stand up for what they believe in. From farmers and ranchers to energy workers, teachers and nurses, Alberta is a place where people work toward something greater than themselves. This referendum gives Albertans a direct say in how we build on that legacy, and create a more sovereign Alberta within a united Canada.
On October 19, Albertans will vote on nine referendum questions shaped by the Alberta Next Panel after extensive province-wide consultations.
These questions focus on two key priorities: ensuring immigration remains sustainable and aligned with Alberta’s capacity, and advancing targeted constitutional changes to strengthen provincial autonomy and push back on federal overreach.
Visit AlbertaReferendum2026.ca to find out more how you can shape Alberta's future.

This headline/story is simply wrong, CTV seems to have mixed it up w a different story. Breast screening is publicly funded, no charges to patients, same as always, in every province.

The word cancer changes a life in an instant.
No one is ever ready for the decisions that follow. That’s why we’re lowering the breast cancer screening age to 40 and helping cancer patients preserve their chance to have a family by funding fertility treatments through a new oncofertility program.
Because every Albertan deserves hope, support, and a future beyond their diagnosis.
