@swspurs Why was it "absolutely right" to try to stop another club from progressing and from competing in Europe? Kind of shoots down your comments about Villa and Newcastle. Fact is, Spurs are one of the key clubs who are happy to stifle clubs with new owners. Odd for relegation dodgers.

Why would anyone appeal against a 'suspended' points deduction or transfer ban? It's admittance you're going to either cheat or sail close to the wind. The FA don't help themselves with their treatment of City and Chelsea. This is where I have sympathy with Villa and Newcastle

@swspurs They are, but, as a Spurs fan, you should very well know that Spurs were part of a cartel that sought to block City's progress at every turn, even demanding City be banned from Europe before the CAS verdict. I find it difficult to sympathise with 'turkeys' who vote for Christmas.

@SteveF_Content I don't really. I do sympathise that the same sanctions aren't applied to bigger clubs though.

@richardajkeys It's a more complicated case and City have always maintained their innocence. Therefore, it's on the Premier League to prove any guilt. What would you prefer? A rushed verdict that wasn't legally binding?

Clearly Chelsea don’t have lawyers as good as City’s. On that subject has anyone got news on the 135 outstanding FFP charges levelled at City? The FA should charge their friends at the PL with bringing the game into disrepute. It’s an absolute joke we still have no resolution.

Each year as we approach the anniversary of The Miami Showband Massacre, I'm mindful that July 31st is also the anniversary of The Claudy Bombing of 1972 in which nine people were murdered & thirty injured. My thoughts, prayers and solidarity are with them at this difficult time.
