BOOM! There it is. Hugely deserved City win. Arsenal are overhyped and overrated. Schooled by a City side in transition. What quadruple? City... tearing Cockneys apart again...

@AmandiOnAir In fact, you can't "guarantee" any of that. Biden is a senile old duffer that his own party deselected as their candidate and Kamala is a cackling idiot who speaks in nonsensical word salads. If anything was guaranteed with those two, it was a total, incompetent shitshow...

I can’t guarantee much, but I can guarantee this. If Kamala Harris — or Joe Biden, for that matter — was President today, I guarantee we would not be at war with Iran, our economy would be much stronger, the US would be more respected & the world would be safer and more peaceful.

I was wondering why people were posting about Martin McGuinness. Apparently he died nine years ago today. Well, here's my contribution. This is McGuinness around 1990, lying to a Dutch journalist about the IRA's use of the proxy or 'human bomb' tactic. This involved strapping a victim to the seat of a vehicle and forcing him to drive a bomb to a military checkpoint, where the bomb would be detonated by remote control. When asked by the journalist about this horrific tactic, McGuinness lied to him, by pretending he wasn't involved. It was actually McGuinness who authorised the 'human bomb' tactic. He was 'officer commanding' of the IRA's Northern Command. McGuinness also lied about leaving the IRA in 1974. Apart from being a senior member of Sinn Fein, he was also on the IRA Army Council. Sound familiar? Do you see how this works? Aa the Chief Constable of the RUC said in 1996 and others such as Tony Blair would later repeat, the leadership of the IRA and Sinn Fein were "inextricably linked". The party was controlled by the IRA Army Council.

@Patrick46888859 @PolDeBuitleir I read it, studied it and have an honours degree in political science. You are flaunting yourself as a pro-IRA dolt, who is in denial as to the roots of that ballot box strategy... the growing realisation that the IRA would never win a military conflict in Northern Ireland...

@SteveF_Content @PolDeBuitleir Rather than flaunting your Daily Mail ignorance, maybe read about the Sands/Carron elections and the genesis of the armalite/ballot box strategy and everything that flowed from that including British failed attempts to kill the movement’s political momentum like the 1985 AIA.

@Muinchille @PaulTurner140 You'd have to ask the lawyers. I'd have been happy to help. Yes, I covered the High Court in London for two years. Actually, the British judge (oddly) reversed a previous ruling on process, thus forcing the hands of the plaintiffs. Adams offered a drop hands deal on Thursday.

Then why wasn't that in evidence and if it were, why wasn't it regarded as conclusive if it is what you say it is? Have you ever been in a courtroom? It's amazing how clear things become in them. A British judge heard the evidence, thought this was a crock and told them to wrap it up. I'll go with that. You should be asking what it means that he wasn't. Because some pieces that didn't fit the picture now do, and we see more of the picture thereby. That's a good test, too.

Like most people, two weeks ago, I thought that Gerry Adams probably was in the IRA, but didn't think it made much difference, anyway. The plaintiffs' case, however, was so poor that I'm now convinced that he wasn't in the IRA.

Robert Mueller was the former special counsel who investigated Russian interference in the 2016 US Presidential election, which Donald Trump won. Mueller has died. Trump’s response? “Good, I’m glad his dead”. What a disgrace.

Trump is utterly disgusting. Surely we cannot be far from the time when King Charles refuses to be involved in Trump’s attempts to use a significant 🇺🇸 anniversary for his own ends. Just take today - for a US President to say “I’m glad he’s dead” of a man who has devoted his life to public service is beyond vile. And his endorsement of Orban (farewell any notion of not interfering in other countries’ politics) puts him in the Putin camp once more, furthering the risk to Ukraine. Add in the endless insults of @Keir_Starmer and I really think the time has come for the 👑 to follow the Pope in being otherwise engaged .

@MrChip5 I agree, but anyone claiming they know more about the case is just writing nonsense. Believe it or not City fans would also welcome the truth to come out. Most of us believe Khaldoon when he says City have "irrefutable evidence" that supports the club's position...

Here's the truth about the Premier League v Man. City case... unless you're a lawyer who's involved or work for the Premier League or City you literally know nothing about the case, bar the charges. If you're 'arguing' to the contrary, you're literally posting in total ignorance.

@Patrick46888859 @PolDeBuitleir No, because both he and his fellow IRA Army Council member McGuinness realised that the increasing stranglehold British Intelligence had over thwarting their planned terrorist attacks meant moving Republicans to a place of acceptance of a peace deal was their only face-saver...
