Texted someone in error this morning, having the wrong number saved for the person I intended to text and I told them so. The recipient, a stranger to me, responded that they’d screenshotted the text and would sue for harassment. Civility in some quarters is all but dead.

McConnell would say that he was obliged, as a party leader, to endorse the party's nominee. But that's about his unwillingness to risk losing his leadership position, which is surely why he didn't spend political capital to get more R votes for conviction and disqualification.

On the politics: What’s happening right now on our college campuses will only help get Trump elected. Why? Because average, middle class Americans - white, black, and brown - who work their asses off every day and follow the rules as best as they can, are not going to fucking tolerate wealthy, entitled, keffiyeh-wearing college students praising the Hamas resistance, calling for the genocide of Israel, and destroying college property. That’s why.
And these average Americans will take it out on Democrats. They will.
