Young men are giving up and Australia is poorer for it.
Today, here, in this country, there is absolutely no incentive for young men. No reason to go from good to great, and great to exceptional. In fact, at this point, they are at a disadvantage for just existing.
Whether it is in school, the family court, the workplace, politics or the public service, men are at a distinct disadvantage as society has ‘overcorrected’ for actual or perceived historical injustice.
Probably why the leading cause of death for young men is suicide. It accounts for roughly one in three deaths in the 15–24 age group and more than one in five in the 25–44 age group, reflecting a significant mental health crisis among younger and middle-aged men.
An absolute tragedy. I think much of it is preventable, but I don’t think we have to look too far to see why this is the case.
They are largely locked out of the property market, unless they can rely on the bank of mum and dad. Their opportunity and career progression, heavily impeded by quotas and targets.
Pushed away from relationships, family and children by confused modern women. Women taught to treat men as vile objects of oppression, so men, particularly young men, avoid relationships completely. Probably why there is an epidemic of loneliness and social isolation.
No wonder there is a birthrate crisis.
Men are being pushed aside simply because of their biological sex.
Demonised by the media, teachers, bureaucrats and politicians.
Expected to pick up the tab, while earning the lower salary, as their diversity-hire date carries on about micro-aggressions and other made-up concepts.
Not allowed to have a place anywhere, as women enter all their spaces by way of right. After all, every male dominated industry must be smashed open and broken down - regardless of skill, interest or capability set. All while we rightly call for a review of the role of men in childcare.
Everything is made better by women. Everywhere. It is a form of gender reparations.
Nobody stops to think why male suicide is so high and rising. Why so many men end up homeless and broken. Worse than that, nobody with any power seems to care.
Under Sussan Ley, the ‘centre-right’ of politics in Australia is now showing the face of extremist feminism externally that it has been its internal driving force for the better part of a decade.
They are on a loser as those of us with common-sense, the conservatives, the libertarians and the young abandon them in droves.
Because identity politics is the domain of the left. The politics of victimhood, grievance and other fabricated problems the liberal West is all the left have remaining. Their ideas fail every rational test. The outcomes of their policies create giant corrupt bureaucracies.
Every time socialism devolves into authoritarianism, the world stands back and looks on in horror. Every time socialism is tried, the state expands into a corrupt, dangerous, and monstrous blob. Always.
So, the left can’t run on their record, they must make up their grievances and success conditions, as they move the goalposts further to the horizon.
They justify more destruction in the name of progress as we wander forward into the abyss of the big state. Lockout laws, lockdowns, gender quotas, empty pubs and no nightlife.
State enforced pay rises, working conditions and red tape, insane compliance and regulations – tariffs, taxes and controls – destroy lives and livelihoods.
All that is left for them is distraction mostly in the name of false war, built on empty grievances. Manufactured victimhood and reparations.
So, men - in particular young men - are expected to pay the bill, while clamouring for jobs in a place where the highest virtue today is being a woman, not being the smartest, most talented or best qualified. No wonder they consider transitioning.
If the political options on the right of centre will not stand up for merit, there is no point to striving for the ‘out group’. For young men, there is little hope here now. More are looking to leave every day. Those that are stuck, languish in dead end jobs as their inferiors pass them by and expect a free drink along the way. Or worse…
We are seeing young men around the Western world move further away from traditional parties as they back in options like AFD in Germany, Reform UK in the Britain and the MAGA movement in the US.
It is only a small matter of time before an option forms for them here too.
It will not be before time. I too am sick of this nonsense.
I just want Australia back.
