I have today written to the Chief Executive of the @EnvAgency, Philip Duffy, about Walley's Quarry. I urge the EA to bring a regulatory prosecution against Walley's Quarry Limited as soon as possible, in line with their own guidance. We have all had enough.

@PStopthestink Very suspicious indeed. The site has been spewing its filth for weeks, much worse than ever. Low and behold the monitoring of said filth isn’t ‘working correctly’. @ClareDinnisEA will no doubt disappear for a few weeks/months, again. Everything in order? 🙄

Last night the stink from the landfill was absolutely disgusting, we had headaches and sore eyes Red industries have no conscience or shame for what they are doing to the environment and the people of Newcastle, And the EA are allowing them to do it
