$ASTEROID SHIB on @HyperliquidX ? How it works 👇
What happened is that Hyperliquid launched HIP-3, an upgrade that allows anyone to list markets in a permissionless way, without asking authorization from anyone.
With HIP-3, any sufficiently capitalized builder can deploy a perp market directly on Hyperliquid's infrastructure, without submitting a listing request or paying fees to the exchange.
The cost to do this is high though. Whoever wants to deploy a market needs to stake 500,000 HYPE, equivalent to approximately $21 million.
That's where NOVA comes in. It pools money from multiple people via vault to reach that staking threshold and in return distributes the fees generated by the listed markets.
Bottom line: NOVA is basically a collective fund that uses Hyperliquid's HIP-3 to list markets without needing a partnership with anyone.
