South Carolinians are getting crushed at the pump. I’m calling on legislative leaders to suspend the 28-cent state gas tax for 30 days or longer to give families immediate relief. Parents, seniors, and small businesses shouldn’t have to choose between gas and groceries. Let’s act now.

🚨URGENT🚨 Last October, I laid out the most aggressive law and order reform package in over a century, focused on cracking down on child predators, locking up repeat offenders, ending the revolving door, and delivering real judicial reform. Today, those critical bills are still stalled. That means: 1. Stronger penalties for child sexual exploitation are being delayed 2. Repeat offenders are getting second chances 3. Cashless bail for dangerous criminals continues 4. Judicial reform is being held up Meanwhile, families are left at risk and the system stays broken. We’re halfway through the legislative session. There is no excuse for inaction. CONTACT YOUR LEGISLATORS TODAY! Tell them to pass these law and order AND judicial reform bills NOW.

Late this afternoon, I spoke to Silfab Solar Inc. and the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES). After that phone call, Silfab has agreed to cease all chemical operations pending investigations and stop all other operations until Monday at 7pm when the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is on the ground.   My office sent a letter to Silfab Solar Tuesday afternoon after hearing reports of chemical spills. There are still several questions that need to be answered, but all production, manufacturing, and assembly operations are paused for now.   Silfab Solar will not be reopening or resuming those operations this evening. There will be administrative and security crews at the facility, but no operations will be resuming.   This agreement does not affect York County Council’s authority to vote and change course on permitting and zoning or any ongoing private litigation. But in the meantime, operations are currently paused.   To the parents of Fort Mill, I know it’s been a long week for you. We’re exploring every legal option available to remedy this situation. I’m going to keep fighting for your kids and families, and I know you will too.   Thank you to Senators Michael Johnson, Wes Climer and State Representatives David Martin, Jackie Terribile, and Randy Ligon for getting involved. I also want to thank Congresswoman Nancy Mace for today joining the fight in trying to find solutions too.   For concerns and questions, please call South Carolina’s Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) at 803-893-3432.

This morning I spoke with EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin directly about the chemical spill at Silfab Solar. I appreciate the amount of attention they’ve given us in such a short amount of time. I’m told the EPA will now arrive on site Monday to investigate, but I wanted to make sure Administrator Zeldin understands the severity of the situation and how concerned parents are in the community. He assured me this is top priority for them. We’re all still gathering information and answers to not only my questions, but the questions of so many families searching for clarity and accountability. I’ll continue to work with our state and federal partners and provide updates when available.

Silfab should immediately shut down operations. The safety of South Carolina families and schoolchildren must come first. wbtv.com/2026/03/05/att…

If Pam Evette is scared to debate, why should anyone believe she has the courage to be governor? What is she hiding? Her DEI policies, her questionable business practices, or something worse?

Out of the kindness of @AGAlanWilson's heart, we've decided to pay in full the imaginary, made up, very clearly does not exist debate "participation fee" for not just Pam, but all of the candidates. You're welcome!

lol you dopes. Unsurprising since @AGAlanWilson is an expert in shakedowns and lining the pockets of his friends. Imagine being a donor to this clown and realizing he just spent $20k PER DEBATE for no one else to show.

Another poll. Another clear picture. South Carolinians are ready to make our state affordable for families and profitable for businesses. Let’s keep the momentum going.
