She is a talented filly who has been highly tried and she ran well beaten just over three lengths into fifth at Newmarket on return. She will come forward for the run and dropping back to 6f and down to Listed level she is clearly the class act in the field. All over BLUE BOLT here. This well bred filly was progressive last season winning three times and she was last seen chasing home Fallen Angel at the top level at Newmarket. That form would have her clear of these and she should have them covered with the promise of more to come this season. She is being well backed and deservedly so. I backed and advised BOW ECHO ante-post for the Guineas at 25/1 and I'm not about to abandon him now. He went a perfect 3-3 last season and looked a colt with an exciting future. He has improved again over the winter and I know the yard are so excited to see him run. He is a strong traveller with a turn of foot so this test is ideal and as long as he gets the gaps I can't see how he doesn't go close. Gstaad is favourite but I couldn't fancy him at all and I can see him needing the run. I fear Distant Storm most as the yard have done well in this race in recent years. If you're looking for something to have an each way bet on Avicenna could be a bit of value to outrun his odds. I was with LOVE BEACH on reappearance at Nottingham last month and he ran out an impressive winner powering away and hitting the line four lengths clear. He is progressing all the time now and despite the handicapper reacting he could still have a bit in hand off this mark as he is a well put together horse who can keep improving for a while yet. Yabher has more to come as well but does lack a run. I wouldn't judge NORTHERN EMPIRE too harshly on that run at Newcastle. He never went a yard and was obviously tailed off. He looked promising winning at Lingfield earlier in the year and he still has potential so at a price I'm taking him to bounce back against these. The yard are also in really good form now which is another positive. This looks a great chance for NOELAN STAR to make it a perfect 3-3. He was mightily impressive winning on debut by over 8 lengths and then justified strong support to score over 7f on the AW on return. Now switching to turf he has more to come especially tackling a mile again and he should have too much for this field.
