A year ago today, I stood as the candidate for the @CPC_HQ in Whitby. It was a honour and privilege to join with @PierrePoilievre to fight to restore the promise of Canada. While we didn’t achieve the result we were hoping for, our party and people will never giving up and will continue to fight for a more affordable life for every single Canadian.

Great afternoon welcoming Canada’s next Prime Minister, @PierrePoilievre in Ajax. Whether it’s at Council or at the door, I hear from Whitby residents across the town who are finding it harder to make ends meet. That shouldn’t be the case in Canada. @CPC_HQ believe that anyone from anywhere can achieve anything - that hard work gets you a great life, in a beautiful house, on a safe street, defended by our brave soldiers under our proud flag.

Thank you to @CPC_HQ for bringing the Jail Not Bail Townhall to Durham Region. All four MPs spoke about the crime and safety problems we experience in our communities. We need concrete actions and MP Kanna’s private members bill will do just that.

And this is why our deficit is 78 Billion!

It was great to have @GarnettGenuis out to Whitby to celebrate with us. From lanterns to mooncakes, every detail was perfect. Thank you to the organizers for putting together a successful event.

The problem is that they will continue to give away our money with no care in the world.

"This isn't the wild west. It's Canada" Not so sure Minister? When bullets are flying in open spaces at all different directions, having the potential to strike completely innocent individuals, or an 8 year old is struck by a stray bullet from a shootout while asleep in their bed, or a youth murdered in an open and full public food court washroom it actually does resemble the "Wild West". You say "Canadians need real solutions that make us safer, not slogans that inspire fear and chaos" . The fact is, you're Government has been in place for a decade and offered no concrete solutions or actions to fix a problems that are ever increasing. In fact you have offered empty promises and excuses that favour the offenders rather than victims of crime. Vigilantism is NOT the answer. Officers are out there working hard to stop these occurrences and keep communities safe and should be trusted to do their jobs. However, there needs to be real change to assist them in their duties. Citizens and Officers who put their lives on the line deserve better than this. Please, show us that you mean what you say and that Canadians will see "real solutions" and effective changes to the laws. Not just more empty promises.
