@greenytrades I mean, what else makes sense aside from HL? There's only a handful of alts (if that) that do.

My worry here is that this is the consensus - it’s too easy - that means not enough people have been hurt yet in this bear market.

Is the trade of 2027 going to be a simple portfolio made up of $BTC, $HYPE & $TAO? I’m struggling to think of anything else…

@_Craig_ “Right now, communities aren't just audiences, they're literally stakeholders.
They benefit when the brand grows.”
How does this financially benefit nft holders? Havent seen the trickle down effect to holders really

One thing people misunderstand about IP is how it actually scales.
Some of the biggest character brands in the world:
~ Pokémon
~ SpongeBob
~ Dora the Explorer
Only have a few million followers on social media.
Yet, these franchises:
● Maintain multi-generational fanbases
● Generate billions in revenue
● Have global recognition
Why?
Because people don't emotionally attach themselves to platforms (well, some do).
They attach to characters, stories, and worlds.
That's the key bridge to NFTs.
Emotional ownership.
For the first time ever... digitally at least, fans aren't just consuming IP. They can own it.
This changes the dynamic entirely, and the receipts are there to back it.
NFT brands like Pudgies and Chimpers often get anywhere between 5-10% engagement on social platforms.
For context, most traditional entertainment brands consider 1% healthy.
This is what's different...
Right now, communities aren't just audiences, they're literally stakeholders.
They benefit when the brand grows.
So they promote it, defend it, build culture around it.
You don't really get this same kind of alignment with traditional IP.
It's why NFTs are, and always will be about the next evolution of internet-native IP and next-gen collecting.
Just getting started.
