@Zinzan_MD @sharrond62 I think corporate greed exists but also gets overblown - if you look at store mark ups, they're not that high in the average shop. But they sell a lot so they make a lot in total. Corner shops are more expensive and they're not being accused of being greedy.
English

@Stevecritical @sharrond62 Well if you are gonna risk it you may as well go for the prime cuts. 😂
I'm more interested in the corporate greed and constant ripping off of the working classes than the petty theft personally. But opinions as ever will vary
English

@Zinzan_MD @sharrond62 Also, while technically true, your statement doesn't give the full story. Premium easily resold pieces of meat for the starving?

English

@Zinzan_MD @sharrond62 You think the crowds of kids are stealing clothes and trainers because they're struggling to get by?
English

@sharrond62 But here's the thing Sharon. They're putting the prices up constantly so for those desperately struggling that little piece of moral reasoning to not shoplift has been removed...by corporate greed.
English

@JaymisHawk @LouiseWluddite @DreyfusJames Poor Jaymis blocked me after his intelligent reply. Must be thick.
English

@JaymisHawk @LouiseWluddite @DreyfusJames Turning up to events and being violent isn't defensive. Of course if you believe disagreement is violence, you get to call your violence defensive. Bit like a fascist.
English

Amazing, isn’t it?
No masked-up thugs, no screaming abuse, no waving signs threatening decapitation or m*rder, no throwing bottles of urine, no drowning out the musicians or the speakers, no aggression, no violence…
Would be SO nice of you lot to behave in a similar manner…
Gender Criticals are unhinged 💚🤍💜@THINGSTERFSSAID
Gender critical cult members turning up to a trans benefit concert. None were ejected, all were shown kindness. All have proven that their arguments around the safety of trans people in society are absolutely ridiculous. They've destroyed their own narrative.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson You're entitled to your opinion, she's entitled to hers. Neither of you are required to like the other one. But maybe some introspection might be needed if increasing numbers of people are getting angry with judges and lawyers.
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson Grossly irresponsible. If she wants to propagate BS the likes of which are normally reserved for the right wing she should have the guts to own it.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson Or maybe you're interpreting it in a strictly legal way and ignoring what she's saying. I'm saying the same thing. If this is the law, there is something wrong with the law. It's not difficult to grasp but it is easier for you to ignore.
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson I’m not I’m setting out the law in response
To the original post which suggests something has gone wrong. A judge properly applying the law can’t by definition be wrong. Sorry you can’t grasp that.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson In order for my comment to be disrespectful to the victim, you have to believe that I really don't think the guy with the knife was trying to kill him. Which you're excusing.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson Should clarify, it wasn't a facetious comment. It's was a factual one.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson I don't know if you're deliberately misinterpreting or social media is getting in the way. This wasn't a murderer case thanks to medical technology, not lack of trying. Yes, I would be in favour of the death penalty for this case.
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson No champ that’s you. Advocating for the death penalty for people with incurable illnesses and then rowing back when it’s pointed out this wasn’t a murder case.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson I'll rephrase it to attempted murder, particularly given the circumstances that I do know. Unless you think 70 stabs was an excited effort to injure.
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson Well as this one didn’t result in murder clearly not. So I guess you know sweet fa about the case. Yet still feel the need to add your ill informed comments.
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson That is really the dumbest take away, and very clearly desperate. If a relative of mine brutally kills someone and they claim mental health issues with no cure, ask me again. Do you think every mental health issue results in murder? Are you stupid?
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson So explain why if there is this bias the ones for the prosecution suffer from it.
Lawyers don’t make a diagnosis
Let’s hope no one you love ever suffers from a mental illness. Very few countries execute mentally ill for a reason. You a fan of eugenics?!
English

@s_charlene @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson I think mental health is deployed for murderous bastards who should be in prison. And if the mental health they are suffering from is incurable, I would be in favour of bringing backbone the death penalty. I think psychiatrists and lawyers can be biased to a diagnosis.
English

@Stevecritical @RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson Why is it that Jonty Bravery hasn’t started serving his sentence yet? According to your theory he should have ditched his mental health issue and be well into it. Is it perhaps that it’s not how the illnesses work?
English

@s_charlene @sharrond62 He's going to a hospital instead of a prison with far more privileges than he deserves because mental health is a pretty big hole that is regularly used.
English

@Stevecritical @sharrond62 What holes were abused here steve?
English

@janeclarejones Has Rowling spoken on this? She prises herself as a “woman’s rights warrior” or is she only interested if she can use it for her transphobia agenda?
English

@RileyD100 @sharrond62 @AllisonPearson As long as he's treated nicely, I'm sure his treatment will go well so he can start his prison sentence. There is obviously no incentive for him to keep claiming mental health issues indefinitely.
English

@sharrond62 @AllisonPearson The perpetrator has been deemed to have a severe mental health issue and is subject to an INDEFINITE stay in Broadmoor Hospital. Only if he is ever deemed fit for release will he start his prison sentence. So he will be incarcerated for much longer than the minimum sentence.
English

@s_charlene @sharrond62 The problem is the "legal complexities". It's a system filled with holes that are being abused for a very simple case.
English

@sharrond62 Are we Sharon. Do provide us with your insight into the legal complexities of this case. You are aware of what the 3 psychiatrists said? Please provide your expert medical opinion as well as legal one on what should have happened here.
English

@sharrond62 Inaccurate reporting.
He has received a life sentence with a minimum term. The judge stated that he should be detained as long as is necessary and that it is unlikely he will ever be released back into the community
