Wesley Bryan and I got into a heated argument about what the majority of people’s favorite club is.
I will stand firm and say it’s a 7 iron. There’s something about that club that’s very different than an 8 and 6.
Wesley said a driver or 60 degree is the majority favorite.

Growing pains.
The hardest part of running this business is managing inventory.
We are going to run out of kids golf club sets any day.
People tell me it’s a good problem to have. But, it really rattles me.
I’m literally taking educated guesses when I order.
▪️how do you factor growth?
▪️how do you manage the cash?
▪️how do you factor the lead times?
I’ll never forget my old store manager from a grocery store chain 15 years ago telling me…
“Know your best sellers and never run out”
He was referring to rotisserie chickens 😂
But it’s still the same concept.
It’s all a learning process. I will figure it out 📝

Last summer, I quit my job. My wife and I emptied our bank account. I went out and bought two CNC mills to start a putter company - @HannaGolfCo. I was planning on launching the company in February. It couldn't be that hard, right? Well, I had never operated a CNC mill before. I'd never used CAD or CAM before. It's been the hardest year of my professional career—hard as hell. I've thought about quitting and selling my machines multiple times. But I am a grinder and underdog. I can't quit. I had to see it through. So today, I am launching Hanna Golf. A boutique putter maker. Putters designed by me and milled by me. Built by an underdog for the underdog. Why putters? I've been looking for the putter I used in college every year since I graduated. I can never find it. So a couple of years ago, I sketched a design, had my brother-in-law design it in CAD, and had a friend mill it for me. I loved that project. I loved creating and building something. And we are only on this earth one time. Life is short. Let's give it a run. I am proud of how far I've come. For a guy that sat behind a desk his whole career to teaching myself how to operate a CNC mill has been rewarding. We have three designs right now; a fourth is prototyped. The putters are good. And they will continue to get better. Shout out to everyone who has followed my journey so far. It's crazy to me that people read my writing. I am humbled and grateful. Our little RG would be 11 mths old today, and not a day goes by we don’t think about her. For a long time I hated seeing baby posts and pregnancy announcements. It honestly made me jealous. That said, we are extremely blessed to announce we will be having a baby boy (thread) ⬇️
