All good things must come to an end… And after an unexpected extension this year. My time with Sackboy and @LittleBigPlanet is truly coming to an end on November 29th. So today marks the beginning of my last two weeks with the most amazing community that I have ever known. ❤️

@dutch_dread I might have to rewatch those scenes some time, since I don’t remember feeling that it was intentional meta humour. Zack meeting Yuffie on the other hand, did feel like a better attempt at adding some meta humour to the game. Which was also nicely referenced in Rebirth.

@StevenIsbell This was the one Zack insert that was a bit silly imo, but I also think they saved it by acknowledging it and going ham with it by talking about the hidden basement and anti-shinra group. Made it more of a meta joke rather than a serious lore role.

@schreppybroepke I wouldn’t mind, but Zack already had established connections with Midgar, Nibelheim and Wutai. So all that extra fluff that shoehorned him into other locations and events. Could have been cut completely and wouldn’t harm either the original or Crisis Core’s stories at all.

@ZeroSkill_Samus Whilst not as offensive as Crisis Core’s retcons, even Rebirth suffers from this with characters such as the Wall Market trio, Nayo, Zhijie, Shinra Middle Manager, etc… All seemingly following the party around the world. Which also makes the party’s journey feel less unique.

@_SpyDtroid_ If you haven’t read it yet, I would recommend reading Traces of Two Pasts. It does a much better job of expanding on the history of Seventh Heaven and detailing Tifa’s earlier life in Midgar.

@adri_smash If you do not have the Sticker required to avoid the trap on a replay. Turn off your controller and turn on your controller again. It will force you to respawn at the later checkpoint that activated upon falling into the trap, but will not count as a death for your Ace award.

@nocurlyfries30 That is honestly one of my most hated changes. In the original, she says it during her moment of victory, after being chased by Nemesis for the entire game, she’s glad to put him down, once and for all. In the remake, she just randomly yells it whilst running away from him.

@StevenIsbell Yea its fine on certain characters. But that was never Jill's personality. It kind of seems like they rebuilt her around the "You want Stars?" 1 liner but they also moved that dialogue to a random scene.

@Pamelaine_ I found it curious enough that her latent G-Virus wasn’t helping to protect her from the T-Virus symptoms. Unless it’s what helped slow down the symptoms on her, compared to what we saw with Leon.

@StevenIsbell It saddens me coz they honestly did an amazing job with re2 remake, sure still has some downsides compared to the og but it remains faithful imo. While re3 remake somehow made the game even shorter than the og already was and somehow skips stuff from the og too.
